These Terms and Conditions set out the terms and conditions regarding any treatment package you purchase from Healthy Türkiye. Please carefully read these Terms and Conditions along with the referenced documents below: By accessing the information and services provided on the website https://www.healthyturkiye.com, you signify your acceptance of the following terms and conditions. By accepting our terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you are bound by these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply wih them. Healthy Türkiye reserves the right to change and modify the Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Upon accepting the provided Quote, completing the Medical History Form, and confirming that you have no health issues for the planned surgery based on the Medical History Form, you will be required to make a deposit payment. Your contract is based on the Terms and Conditions provided here and under the Medical History Form.
Definitions
Healthy Türkiye: Healthy Türkiye is the trading name for a medical tourism company, incorporated as Healthy Türkiye Sağlık Turizmi Ticaret ve Sanayi Limited Şirketi. It operates at Arapsuyu Mah, 625. Sk. No:28, 07070 Konyaaltı/Antalya. It is a member of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies with license number xxx and is accredited by the Ministry of Health of Türkiye. Health care provider: Refers to the hospital, private clinic, surgeon, or any other medical professional responsible for providing consultation, examination, medical procedures, and care, including aftercare. Treatment package: Refers to the comprehensive treatment package that may include treatment, accommodation, transfers, city tours, and Customer Experience Specialist services, depending on the patient’s choice. Treatment: Refers to the specific medical treatment that will be performed by the chosen healthcare provider.
Healthy Türkiye’s Liabilities & Responsibilities
Your medical package is determined based on your pictures and test results. Therefore, it may change during a physical examination conducted by your healthcare provider. Your treatment package covers all pre-operative tests. However, you may be charged additional fees for extra tests deemed necessary due to pre-existing conditions or any other specific circumstances. The number of nights included in your treatment package for your hospital stay is specified in your Quote and/or Itinerary. If you stay more nights than stated in your treatment package, you will be charged for the additional nights at the current rates of the hospital. Healthy Türkiye acts as a medical facilitator company and does not operate or control any healthcare service facility or the services provided by them. By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree not to hold Healthy Türkiye responsible for any malpractice or complications caused by your healthcare provider. The forms provided by the treatment center establish a contractual relationship between you and the Healthcare Provider. As a medical facilitator company, Healthy Türkiye facilitates communication with your chosen Healthcare Provider in case of any complications or dissatisfaction. Healthy Türkiye also supports you in obtaining a second opinion regarding your treatment in such cases. However, Healthy Türkiye does not possess medical qualifications and cannot be held responsible or liable for any medical procedures performed by your chosen Healthcare Provider. We shall not be held responsible or liable for any care, treatment, or other services provided by the healthcare provider, or for any malpractice claims that may arise directly or indirectly from their advice. Similarly, we shall not assume any responsibility or liability for complications or dissatisfaction arising from the treatments provided by the Healthcare Provider. We strongly advise you to carefully read the Healthcare Provider’s terms and conditions and consent forms before proceeding with your treatments.
Prior to your journey, Healthy Türkiye will provide you with all the necessary information about your medical package, which will include:
- The name and contact details of the Healthcare Provider
- The name and contact details of the hotel (if included in your medical package)
- The name and contact details of the Customer Experience Specialist (if included in your medical package)
- The name and contact details of the driver (if included in your medical package)
- Dates, times, and locations of transfers (if included in your medical package)
- Date and time of the treatment
- Cost of the treatment package
- Visa and passport requirements
Healthy Türkiye is not responsible for any third-party services, such as hotels. Healthy Türkiye is responsible for arranging these services.
Your Responsibilities
By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree to share any relevant information about your medical condition. You are responsible for providing accurate information regarding your medical condition in order to receive the appropriate treatment plan. You are responsible for arranging your travel documents, such as a passport and visa, for your treatment in Türkiye. By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant Healthy Türkiye permission to obtain your medical records from your healthcare provider and retain those records if necessary. To receive treatment from Healthy Türkiye’s healthcare provider, you are required to make a deposit payment before commencing your journey. The full payment must be completed prior to your treatment. You will not receive any treatment until the payment is completed. It is your responsibility to add any necessary insurance coverage to your medical package. Healthy Türkiye recommends medical travel insurance on its website, and you may proceed with one of the recommended options. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge your obligation to obtain insurance coverage.
Cancellation
If your treatment plan changes following your physical examination by your doctor/surgeon or due to your test results, you have the option to decline the treatment. In such cases, you will receive a refund after deducting the costs associated with tests and consultations from the total package amount. Please note that Healthy Türkiye is not responsible for refunding accommodation, travel, and transfer costs as these arrangements are not made by Healthy Türkiye but by third-party providers not controlled or operated by Healthy Türkiye. If you choose to proceed with the new treatment plan, you will receive a revised price quotation. If the treatment plan changes, the duration of your stay may also change. Healthy Türkiye assumes no responsibility for such changes and cannot be held liable for any lack of arrangement or organization of extra days stayed or additional costs incurred for the extended stay. The deposit serves as a reservation fee and is non-refundable under any circumstances. The deposit is valid for six months from the payment date. In case of force majeure events such as earthquakes, pandemics, pregnancy, the validity is extended for another six months or until the patient becomes medically available to undergo the treatment.
Medical Examination
Healthy Türkiye reminds you that all types of surgery/treatment carry certain medical risks. Risks associated with cosmetic surgery also include the possibility of dissatisfaction with the results. It is crucial to have a mutual agreement between you and the surgeon/professional regarding the anticipated outcome of your surgery/treatment to ensure realistic and reasonable expectations of the results. Any medical or surgical advice provided through the Healthy Türkiye website, email documents, or any messages is accurate to the best of Healthy Türkiye’s knowledge. However, it is your responsibility to discuss these matters again during a face-to-face consultation with your Surgeon prior to your treatment. Therefore, feel free to ask your surgeon any questions you may have before undergoing any surgical treatment.
Aftercare
After your surgery, you will have a certain number of follow-up appointments. One will take place at the hospital, and another will occur before your return to your home country. Your surgeon will provide you with aftercare instructions. It is your obligation to follow the aftercare instructions provided. If any complications arise after your return to your home country, Healthy Türkiye will assist you by requesting your pictures, test results, and any doctor reports you received in your home country. This information will be forwarded to your surgeon to assess your case, provide an opinion, and determine possible next steps for post-operative treatment. If revision or corrective treatment is required and your surgeon confirms and accepts the need for revision or corrective surgery, the surgeon will cover the cost of the treatment. You will only be responsible for the cost of the hospital (excluding the surgeon), travel, accommodation, transfers, and sustenance in such cases. The clinic/hospital will provide you with aftercare instructions and advice. Failure to follow these instructions may release the hospital and surgeon from any responsibility for any resulting complications. There is no possibility of a refund from the hospital, surgeon, or Healthy Türkiye. Healthy Türkiye also recommends medical travel insurance on its website, which covers surgery/treatment expenses in your home country in the case of any complications. It is your responsibility to obtain insurance coverage.
Feedback and Reviews
Healthy Türkiye strives to provide excellent service and welcomes feedback from its patients to improve its services. However, reviews must be sincere, genuine, helpful, and directly related to Healthy Türkiye’s services. Healthy Türkiye acts as an intermediary to provide quality treatments at affordable prices, but it cannot be held responsible for the services provided by healthcare providers and their actions. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree not to publicly attack or criticize Healthy Türkiye or any of its employees (on review websites, social media networks, blogs, public forums, etc.) regarding the treatment and services provided by Medical Service Providers (doctors, medical personnel, hospitals) and the services of the hotel. In the event of a breach of this clause, you must immediately remove and take down the content upon assessment by Healthy Türkiye. If the content remains, in part or in whole, you agree to pay €5,000 to Healthy Türkiye as damages.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
Healthy Türkiye is responsible for securely storing your personal information in strict confidentiality. Healthy Türkiye will not disclose your data, records, or information without your consent and will only share it with medical staff as necessary. To ensure your privacy, Healthy Türkiye handles all patient information in compliance with Turkish laws regarding the release and disclosure of personal health information. Your anonymous before-and-after pictures may be used for illustrative purposes only to demonstrate possible results from various procedures. We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Changes to Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy may undergo occasional updates. Therefore, we recommend that you regularly review this page for any modifications. We will inform you about any changes by publishing the updated Privacy Policy on this page. These alterations will take effect immediately after they are posted here.
